Herr Ziege was fortunate to miss Liverpool's visit to the Riverside last Christmas but I am sure that feelings are still running high, with the saga still to be settled in the courts.
Without going into the details Ziege is not liked by the Teesside public who feel he used Boro resurtrect his failing career. I for one will let him know my feelings at every possible opportunity.
Steve McClaren will have to wait until tomorrow before he can consider his line-up, several players are rated as doubtful for the tea-time kick-off.
Mark Schwarzer has been suffering from a stomach bug, while Mark Crossley has a knee injury which kept him out of the Wales squad this week. Marlon Beresford has been recalled from Burnley as a precaution but could find himself playing.
Paul Ince has also been under the weather this week while Jonathan Greening has been struggling with a hip injury sustained at Old Trafford last week. Both will be looked at tomorrow before a decision is made.
Szilard Nemeth returned from international duty with an ankle injury and is definitely out of Boro's Easter fixtures. Gianluca Festa is also out as he completes his two match ban.
Three points tomorrow will all but guarentee Boro's survival and give them the opportunity to enjoy the last half dozen league games without having to look over their shoulders.
