Youngsters lift trophy

The side was largely made up of members of the successful youth team from last season, but they proved too much for a Scarborough side that included ex-Nottingham Forest striker Jason Lee, who was on trial for the Seadogs.

James Morrison and Niklas Nordgren were on target for Boro while Scott Kerr netted for the home side.

Boro won the trophy for the third successive year.
