Yakubu nets in Edinburgh draw

A strong Boro side started the first pre-season game at Tynecastle, against a Hearts team who had already played four pre-season games.
In an entertaining game the supporters had to wait until the last fifteen minutes for the goals.
Boro took the lead from the penalty spot after Gaizka Mendieta was brought down in the box. Yakubu scored from the spot.
The lead only lasted five minutes before Andy Webster equalised for the Jambos.

Boro's 'second string' lost 3-0 against Hartlepool at Victoria Park.
