BORO have announced ticket and travel details for the away leg of their UEFA Cup first round tie with Greek side Xanthi, on Thursday September 29 (KO 9pm local time, 7pm UK time).
Up to 1,200 tickets are available to Boro, priced £21.50 each (no concessions).
The club's official fans' flight - organised by Travel Care Sports - is priced £335, including a match ticket, day return from Durham Tees Valley Airport and all coach transfers in Greece. The flight will leave Teesside on the morning of the game, returning soon after the end of the match.
As only 160 spaces are available on the official flight, priority will be given to the club's longest-serving season ticket holders.
Fans interested in travelling on the official flight to Xanthi should call in at MFC Travel in Captain Cook Square, Middlesbrough, call the Travel Care Sports hotline on 0870 112 0123 or visit their website at www.travelcaresports.com. Travel Care Sports will require your name, address, passport number and season ticket patron number.
Travel Care Sports are experienced in making travel arrangements for fans following their club into Europe, having been official travel agent for England and Manchester United for some years.
MFC understands that some fans will want to make their own travel arrangements to Xanthi. Ticket application forms will be available to those supporters via the Riverside Stadium's main ticket office from 9.30am this Thursday. Again, priority will be given to the club's longest-serving season ticket holders.
Graham Fordy, Boro's Head of Commercial, said: "As with last season, we strongly advise supporters wanting to attend the away leg not to book their travel arrangements before they have ensured that they have actually been successful with their ticket application.
"They risk committing themselves to non-refundable travel expenses only to find they have not been able to purchase a ticket for the game."
