Viduka has only played 10 minutes of first team football for Boro this year.
After injuring his back against Birmingham on Boxing Day he broke down on his comeback against Crystal Palace in April. He was also hampered with a thigh injury.
Should he play Viduka will earn his 25th cap for the Socceroo's.
