Banik Ostrava have given Boro an allocation of 900 tickets for the away leg, priced £25 (no concessions).
The allocation is in accordance with UEFA rules which stipulate that away clubs must receive an allocation that represents 5% of the stadium capacity.
Ticket applications are being accepted by post only, initially to Season Ticket holders.
Whilst no guarantees can be made, ticket applications from the club’s longest serving Season Ticket holders will be given priority.
All applications for away leg tickets must be received by the club by close of business on Wednesday September 15. After this date, all applications will be selected at random in prefix order, starting with S’s and T’s and followed by B, C, D, E, F, G, H and I.
From 1pm today (Tuesday), application forms can be printed from the club’s website at mfc.co.uk. Forms will also be available to collect from both MFC Retail stores and the stadium reception until 5pm each day and from the stadium ticket office 5pm to 8pm Tuesday to Thursday.
Boro have also announced details of their official travel package. The club has available a 580-seater Boeing 747 which will depart Teesside Airport for Ostrava between 8am and 9am on the day of the game, with a return flight soon after the end of the match.
The package, priced £350 (excluding match ticket), includes coach transfers from Ostrava airport to the city centre. Supporters will have a few free hours in the town before escorted coach travel to the stadium to arrive around 7pm local time. The game kicks off at 8.45pm local time (7.45pm BST). There will be escorted coach travel back to the airport for the return flight after the game.
Those travelling with the official club trip will have the ease of mind of knowing that members of Cleveland Police and MFC staff are travelling with them, whilst they will also receive preferential embarking for their flights.
Supporters can apply to book these arrangements on the ticket application form. Payment will be returned to those supporters who are not successful in their ticket application.
The club’s Media & Communications Manager Dave Allan said: “Given the relatively small size of the allocation, we cannot guarantee any of our supporters a ticket for the match.
“From the outset, we have advised supporters not to commit themselves to non-refundable travel packages until they had ensured they had a ticket for the away leg.
“We would again reiterate this advice. Indeed, we would strongly advise supporters only to travel as part of the football club’s official arrangements.
“We would also strongly advise supporters not to travel to Ostrava without a ticket, as they are likely to be refused entry to the Czech Republic.”
Tickets for the first leg of the tie, taking place at the Riverside Stadium on Thursday September 16, are now on sale. Season ticket holders have until this Saturday (September 11) to claim their usual matchday seat and to benefit from beneficial ticket pricing.
The stadium ticket office is open from 9.30am to 8pm Tuesday to Thursday and from 9.30am to 5pm on Friday. It will also be open from 9.30am until 6pm on Saturday when Boro host Birmingham City at the Riverside.
