The winner of the PFA Vertu Motors Championship Fans' Player of the Month - November

Middlesbrough forward Chuba Akpom has won the PFA Vertu Motors Championship Fans' Player of the Month award for November.

The Arsenal academy graduate managed to grab a goal contribution in each of Boro's four matches prior to the World Cup break, racking up three goals and one assist.

Michael Carrick's side opened November with a 3-1 win away at Hull City, with Akpom grabbing the opener.

Akpom followed that up with the equaliser in their 1-1 home draw with Bristol City, before scoring Middlesbrough's third goal as they beat Blackpool 3-0 at Bloomfield Road.

To round off the month. Akpom provided a stoppage time assist for Matt Crooks as Boro won 2-1 at Norwich City.

After such an impressive month, Akpom took home 29% of the public vote for the award, narrowly beating north east rival Amad Diallo of Sunderland (26%) to top spot.

Preston North End striker Ched Evans finished in third with 16% of the vote, while Coventry City forward Viktor Gyokeres came fourth with 11%.

Finishing just behind them were Anel Ahmedhodzic of Sheffield United (10%) and West Bromwich Albion's Kyle Bartley (9%).
