Dave Kitson: "It's an opportunity to play half-a-dozen games to get my match fitness back up and then get back to Stoke to try to force my way back in there.
"Am I flexible on staying with Boro? No, not really. It's six weeks and I'll try 100 per cent to do my very, very best to leave them in a good situation, but I signed a contract at Stoke and my aim is to get back in their first team.
"I thought I'd done it at the start of the season and I'll try to do it again.
"There are reasons now why a permanent deal would be very, very difficult. It would affect more people than me and that's not fair.
"My family's carved out its own life away from football. My wife has a very good job in London she's worked really hard to get, and it wouldn't be fair for her to leave at this stage.
"This would be a fantastic club to come to, but my ties are such that it would make it difficult, if not unfair, to come for more than six weeks."
