Manager Gordon Strachan has told his Middlesbrough team they are playing for their individual futures every time they run out on to the pitch. The Teessiders entertain struggling Sheffield Wednesday on Saturday sitting six points off the pace in the race for a Coca-Cola Championship play-off spot with just four games remaining. Whatever happens over the final few weeks of the season, Strachan will face a series of big decisions during the summer amid speculation over skipper Gary O'Neil's future, loan signing Stephen McManus' impending return to Celtic and soon-to-be out of contract trio Jeremie Aliadiere, Emanuel Pogatetz and Chris Riggott drawing to a close. However, Strachan insists every player must have an eye on what lies ahead every day of his career. He said: "You play for your future in every game you play no matter where you are."
