Sporting v Middlesbrough: Ticket allocation confirmed

The Evening Gazette fueled the rumours yesterday that Boro would receive just 1,200 for the game at the Jose Alvalade Stadium.

At around 2.3% of the 52,000 capacity the Portugese club would have been in breach of UEFA regulations which state that 5% of the capacity should be given to the away team.

Boro officials confirmed today that Boro would receive at least 2,500, with more been made available if required.
