Gareth Southgate: "We know that it's going to be uphill from now on, but you won't find anybody at this club who think it's a battle that is lost.

"We know we will have to win an incredible fixture, which means that we will have to win a fixture that nobody expects us to win.

"But then most teams that survive in our situation go out and do that.

"I always felt that we would probably have to go to Newcastle and win. Now that's pretty much the case.

"We are not going to sacrifice the next couple of games. We'll train as hard as ever this week, go to Arsenal fully prepared, and we'll do our best to get something.

"Obviously we have to take a different approach at the Emirates than we did against Fulham, but we'll go there with a game plan.

"You have to have the belief that you can do it.

"We saw that belief against Fulham and if we continue to play like that in the last five games then we will give ourselves a chance.

"Obviously it's a daunting task. But you never know what is going to happen next in this game.

"We have to treat every remaining game as winnable, because we have the players who can deliver."
