"He's a strong character, a strong player. He wants to take the ball all the time. He's physically tough, and he's emerging as a leader within that group.
"He had first-team experience before he came here, with Le Havre and PSG. He'd also been captain of some junior French teams, so he's got those leadership qualities.
"We weren't sure how quickly he'd come on. We could see his talent, we were aware of that before he came and we saw it in pre-season.
"It took him a while physically because he missed the last six months of last year. But it's been good to see him develop and emerge as a character, as well as a player."
