Sky have scheduled 38 games in the period up to New Year with Boro being selected to be shown in just three games. Further live games will be announced later.
The first Boro game is away at Charlton Athletic on Sunday 20th October. Not exactly a thriller and not one that has conjured up a goal feast, three of the last four matches between the teams have ended goalless.
The next chance for Boro fans to see their team in action is on Monday 4th November at St James' Park in a tricky North East derby. Boro did turn the Geordie's over two seasons ago with a brace from Alen Boksic but history would suggest that Newcastle will be strong favourites for the game.
Finally Boro will entertain Manchester United on Boxing Day, hoping for a repeat performance of last seasons rousing cup victory over Steve McClaren's old team. We did of course beat them at Old Trafford last season, although they won the reverse league fixture at the Riverside.
