Second Boro pre-season friendly result

Following the weekend 3-0 defeat at FC Schalke the result last night was more promising. However, it was marred by a sending off incident when Rochemback retaliated on Dardai and both went for an early bath.

Boro again fell behind in the first half but this time they fought back to go in level at the interval thanks to a Yakubu penalty.

On a positive note for those dreading the prospect of Brad Jones in goal was that Lee Turnbull put in a good performance.
