Middlesbrough boss Tony Mowbray has praised midfielder Barry Robson's contribution to Saturday's 2-1 win against Watford at the Riverside.The Scotland international skippered the side, and provided the assists for Scott McDonald and Andrew Taylor to overhaul Danny Graham's early opener.
"Barry had a big part to play in both goals," Mowbray told BBC Tees.
"He epitomised the performance today, wholehearted, and with good quality when required."
Robson, 31, was signed to Middlesbrough by former boss Gordon Strachan from Celtic in January 2010 and has scored eight goals in 45 games since that time.
Meanwhile Mowbray's side are nine points clear of Sheffield United who occupy the final relegation place at the bottom end of the Championship table.
"No one will be relaxing, the next game is massive. If we can get a result against Leicester then the games start running out for some teams," Mowbray added.
"If nine points is the gap with eight games to go, then the teams at the bottom have got to win three games from eight, and it's probably taken some of the teams 20 games to win three.
"They've got to find some real good form over the last stage of the season, but that said, we've got some football matches to win, and it won't matter how many games they win if we win a couple more."
