Reserves off to a flyer

Reserve team coach Colin Cooper started with an experienced line-up that included Malcom Christie, Danny Graham, Andrew Davies, James Morrison and Adam Johnson, to name a few.

Christie was the pick of the Boro side, wading in with a hat-trick. He gave Boro the lead after 20 minutes then completed his hat-trick with two goals in the first 20 of the second half.

David Wheater and Danny Graham completed the rout to give Coops a memorable first game in charge.
