The games are at Sheffield Wednesday on Tuesday 30th July, with a 7.30pm kick-off, followed three nights later by a trip to Hull on Friday 2nd August, with a 7.45pm kick-off. It is a return for Steve McClaren and Dean Windass to their old stamping ground.
The final game also sees a return to their old club for Dean Windass and Benito Carbone, if he signs, at Bradford on Monday 5th August, with a 7.45pm kick-off.
With the Premiership kicking off on Saturday 17th August and the Nationwide on Saturday 10th Boro will probably seek foreign opposition to complete their preparations.
