Boro eased themselves 10 points clear of the drop zone with the point they gained from last weekend's hard-fought 3-3 draw with Leicester, which extended their unbeaten run to four games, but their manager insists they can take nothing for granted.
Mowbray said: "That's the message loud and clear for us all. Until we are mathematically safe, the players have just got to keep finding performances like they have done over the last month or two, starting at the weekend.
"While the clubs in the bottom three have got enough games left and enough points to play for, we will keep going.
"We have got a tough week ahead and we have just got to keep trying to pick up points until somewhere along the line, the teams below us run out of games, you hope, and the points gap becomes too great for them to catch us.
"Then we can not relax but we can have a look at one or two things in games looking forward to next season."
