Manager Tony Mowbray has warned Middlesbrough's fans the club's recovery will not happen overnight. Mowbray`s first game in charge ended in defeat on Saturday when Bristol City came from behind to win 2-1 at the Riverside Stadium, Boro's loss defeat in their last seven outings. Mowbray, whose side face bottom-of-the-table Crystal Palace at the weekend, told the Evening Gazette: "We have to make sure that confidence levels remain high this week. Then we must ensure we create as many chances against Crystal Palace on Saturday as we did against Bristol City. "If the team continues to create that many chances then you would expect to win games, especially with the strikers we have got. "It was disappointing not to get something from Saturday's game because we deserved something but we can see what we have to do, where we have to go. "I have to work with the players I have got and try to get the team to function. We have to take up the positives and develop them."
