Middlesbrough's Internationals Recent Games

Mark Schwarzer has missed the last three Australian matches after injuring himself in May against Turkey. His misfortune has led to a call up for another Boro 'keeper Brad Jones. So far he has only warmed the bench. Earlier today Australia beat Fiji 6-1 with Tim Cahill (Millwall) grabbing a hat-trick.

Ex-Boro player Tony Vidmar also played in the game.

Slizard Nemeth played for 90 minutes at the weekend for Slovakia. His country lost away to Croatia 1-0.

Another Boro player who suffered a defeat at the weekend was Zenden. Holland lost 1-0 at home to Belgium. However, last night they beat the Faroe Islands 3-0 with Zenden coming on at half-time when his team were a goal ahead.

Holland's next and last game before Euro 2004 is against the Republic of Ireland this Saturday.
