Middlesbrough v Coventry

Last updated : 23 April 2010 By BBC Sport

Coventry have doubts over on-loan striker Freddie Sears (ankle) and defender Martin Cranie (knee).

Jonathan Stead (knee), Gary Deegan (ankle), James McPake (groin and knee), Ben Turner (ankle) and Isaac Osbourne (knee) are all sidelined.

MATCH PREVIEW

Coventry are yet to win at the Riverside Stadium, where Middlesbrough are unbeaten in 2010 having not lost in 11 home matches.

Eighth in the table, Boro are at their highest position since the turn of the year, but are out of the running for a play-off place.

Last Saturday's 2-0 defeat at West Brom ended their eight-match unbeaten run and any chance of a top six finish, leaving boss Gordon Strachan to plan for next season.

Strachan, an ex-Coventry player and manager, will expect three points against his former club. The Sky Blues are ending the season disappointingly, having failed to win in their last nine matches.
