Middlesbrough: Last chance to beat the deadline

It has been reported that Bobo Balde will sign a pre-contract agreement with Boro and move to the Riverside in the summer. However, talks are still continuing with his club Celtic and there may still be some hope that he moves now, if the clubs can agree a fee.

It is also rumoured that Boro have gone back to Chelsea in a hope that they can persuade the Londoners to part with Geremi. Reports over the weekend suggest that the two clubs agreed a fee but the move was rejected by the player.

Boro boss Steve McClaren will be working overtime in his bid to bring in new blood, so don't rule out the chance of a transfer, until the midnight deadline passes tomorrow.
