This is what Boro need if they are to stay in the Premier League:

1. Boro MUST win at West Ham.

2. Newcastle MUST lose at Aston Villa.

3. Manchester United MUST beat Hull City by a hatful of goals.

4. Boro MUST overturn a five-goal deficit with Hull, for example, if Boro win 1-0, Hull must lose 4-0.

5. If Boro win and Newcastle draw, Boro are relegated - and if Boro gain only four goals on Hull, they will go down on goals scored.
