There is no confirmation of who the manager or owner of Newcastle United will be on the opening day of the new season but one thing for sure is they seem in a bigger mess than ourselves.

The fixtures for the new season will be announced next Wednesday, 17th June 2009 and the Tyne/Tees derby will be the main fixture to watch out for.

Gone are the days of trips to Arsenal, Spurs, Chelsea and West Ham ... instead our visits to London will be for Crystal Palace and QPR. God forbid!
