Johnson deal not dead

Reports today suggested that the 23-year-old has failed a medical at Boro but Boro boss Steve Mcclaren said "Discussions are ongoing, the situation should be clear by Monday morning".

It would be no surprise if the ex-Derby player failed a medical since he has only played 20 games since signing for Leeds from Derby just over 15 months ago.
