The Italian's will visit the Riverside on Saturday 9th August. It will be Boro's only home friendly in the run-up to the new season.

Chievo finished fourth in Serie A last season after a meteoric rise from Serie B, they then surprised the football world by living with the big-boys of Italian football.

Tickets for the game, which kicks-off at 4pm, will be announced shortly.
