If Boateng is declared fit Steve McClaren will be able to name an unchanged team for the visit of the newly promoted side from London.

The Dutchman is forming a useful partnership with Ray Parlour in midfield and would be missed if he fails to recover. Doriva will stand by as cover. Mark Viduka will continue up front with JFH.
