Huth deal complete!

Initially the BBC reported that Chelsea had refused the deal to go through because they did not want to lose two central defenders without bringing in a replacement.

However, minutes later Sky Sports reported that the deal was completed before the midnight deadline. The BBC have now changed their report to say the deal was complete.

Local TV and radio news reports are now confirming that the deal was complete and two new players will be unveiled by Boro at a press conference this afternoon.
