The 21 year old has spent the past month on loan at Saltergate and has impressed fans and management alike. It is believed that Boro will recieve £100,000 and also have a 50% sell on clause should Chesterfield sell him on.

It had appeared that Boro didnt want to sell Hudson, only sending him on loan to gain first team experience but persistence from Chesterfield manager Dave Rushbury looks to have paid off. Hudson has only had limited first team appearences at the Riverside, although he was the captain of the second string side last season.

Rushbury is delighted to have captured Hudson, but it leaves Boro looking increasingly weaker in midfield.
