George signs new deal

The midfield powerhouse has signed a new three year deal that will keep him at the Riverside until the summer of 2009.

It comes as a great relief to many after speculation suggested that he could be open to offers from other clubs, when his contract ran out at the end of June.

All we need now is a new manager and we are set for the new season.
