With Sol Campbell out for six weeks the Boro captain has a great chance of lining up for England against Szilard Nemeth's Slovakia at the Riverside next month.
Eriksson has named a 25-man squad for the three end-of-season games culminating in the Euro 2004 qualifier at the Riverside on 11th June.
England warm up with friendly games against South Africa in Durban on 22nd May and Serbia-Montenegro in Leicester on 3rd June.
