Former Boro Star Goes Missing!

Gordon turned up to play Alfreton Town for (what he thought was) an away fixture and his side Workington were at HOME.

Workington manager Darren Edmondson: "I thought Dean was going to tell me he was stuck in traffic or he had been in an accident.

"But he just asked me where we were. I told him we were at the ground and asked where he was.

"When he told me he was in Alfreton I couldn't believe it. I had to bite my lip but we had a laugh about it."

Workington lost 3-0 to Alfreton Town.
