First we lost Geremi (Champions League) then we lost Trevor Sinclair (UEFA Cup), now it's the Brazilian who could have had a starring role in Boro's midfield.
It's disappointing to lose these players but at least it shows that Boro are still ambitious enough to try and tempt players of that quality to the Riverside.
European football is an attraction that most ambitious players strive for, hence it is vitally important that Boro achieve their goal in the near future.
