Europe still a target?

Manchester United's Carling Cup win has increased the chances that Boro have of qualifying for Europe through the league.

With United almost sure to qualify for the Champions League their UEFA Cup place, for winning the Carling Cup, will be given to the team finishing seventh in the Premier League.

Following todays victory over West Brom, Boro are just 10 points off Arsenal who are seventh, and have a game in hand over the six teams immediately above them.

Today's victory gave Boro their first back-to-back league victories since November 2004, when ironically one of the teams we beat was West Brom.
With twelve games left to play lets hope we can extend the run and push on up the league.

Who knows, still fighting in two cups and not out of it in the league, it could be a good season afterall.

COME ON BORO!!!
