With only 10 points between Boro and 5th place it is not beyond the realms of possibility that a good run-in could see Boro pressing for a European place.
The next four games, against teams in the top seven, will test the resolve of a team that has won three league games in a row for the first time in almost a year.
The final ten games would appear, on paper, to give Boro a great opportunity to qualify for again Europe, with only Manchester United, Liverpool and Tottenham riding higher in the table than Boro.
I'm not going to make any predictions but a few more performances like Saturday's and we could be going on another European tour.
