Espanyol to visit the Riverside

Boro have arranged a second home game in their pre-season build-up. The Spanish side, who finished fifth in the Primera Liga last season, will play at the Riverside on Sunday 7th August, kick-off 3pm.

It will be another useful test for Boro, who play Atletico Madrid four days before Espanyol visit. Indeed it could be a rehearsal for later in the season, since Espanyol are one of Spain's representatives in this years UEFA Cup.
