Downing brought back from Sunderland

Stewart Downing has had his loan spell at Sunderland ended as he is likely to be needed as a substitute for Boro against Charlton on Saturday.

Both Juninho and Doriva are struggling with injuries.

Downing appeared seven times for the Wearsiders scoring three goals, one a penalty.
