Digard Waiting On X-Ray!

Digard was stretchered off in the first half after an incident that saw former Boro midfielder Cattermole win the ball first but go straight through the man.
Touching the ball does not always put a player in the right when he leaves an opponent waiting to find out if his leg has been broken.
Gareth Southgate: "Didier is in hospital having an X-ray. If you're on their side, Lee has timed the tackle about right to take the ball and just about everything else.
"It was the sort of opportunity he would have been looking for. Unfortunately, Didier turned into it and got caught. It's a blow and it had a big effect on the game.
"We're struggling to score. We didn't create enough chances, but they defended very well as a team and were solid.
"It's a missed opportunity for us. There's no question we have a fight on our hands. The majority outside our group think we're gone, but we're not. There's a lot of football to be played.
"We were frustrated here. I thought Wigan did a very good job on us. Sometimes you have to bear in mind the way the opposition play.
"The only spell that disappointed me was the last 20 minutes where I thought we were a bit fearful of making mistakes. I just feel we needed to be braver.''
