Crossley goes out on loan

It is the second time Crossley has joined the Potters this season after a loan spell in November was cut short when the keeper was recalled by manager Steve McClaren.

He goes straight in to City's squad for the game against Ipswich Town at Portman Road on Saturday.

Crossley's absence will provide Boro's young keepers Brad Jones and Sam Russell with a chance to stake their claims for a place on the bench.
