Marlon King, Tuncay and Jeremie Aliadiere will be encouraged to get into the box, to aid the Boro cause.Crosby: "Afonso has had a lot of opportunities to score goals, and you've got to give him some credit for getting into the right positions in the first place.
"We see him every day on the training pitch and he scores goals. So we have to bring him back in because he is the player most likely to score. We are still searching for the partnership which will be most effective for the team.
"But with the need for goals now of over-riding importance, we have to utilise all our attacking players and make sure the emphasis stays on scoring goals."
