Coops signs extension

The 36-year-old could play a major part in Boro's early season fortunes as injuries to Ugo Ehiogu and David Murphy, plus a suspension to Franck Queudrue, give him a great opportunity of starting the season in the team.

Coops played 20 games last season fitting in as required to suit injuries and suspensions.
