Cooper Sends Out Battle Cry!
Cooper: "I have played in teams that have been relegated, and this team is better than those teams that went down.
"I see the players in training every day. I know exactly what they are capable of achieving.
"So far we haven't done enough. We don't like looking at the league table but we are in the bottom three because of the results we have had this season.
"It's our job to get out of it, and to show we are better than this.
"We've had a very positive response in recent weeks and it needs to continue.
"The first thing we have to do is to start picking up a couple of wins. We have to climb above the teams above us.
"You get must-win games when you get down to the last few games of a season and you are not as close as you would like to be to the teams above you.
"That's not the situation here. If you call the Wigan game a must-win game and you don't win, where do you go from there?
"We know that we need to pick up points and that's why the Wigan game is a very important game for us.
"We want results as quickly as possible, but we haven't moved into the era of must-win games just yet.
"We want to win as many games as we can. We are preparing to do everything we can to try to beat Wigan and the players are fully focused on what they need to do."
