Christie to sign today?

Derby have been stalling over negotiations for Christie and his team mate Chris Riggott, but developments yesterday suggest that they will allow Christie to move to the Riverside, on loan until the end of the season, with a view to a £2m permanent deal.

Meanwhile negotiations for Leeds midfielder Seth Johnson have entered a third day, with the ex-Derby player unable to agree terms. It is believed that Boro are unreluctant to match his current salary at Leeds of around £22k a week.
