Charlton sold their allocation of just under 5,000 tickets this morning, ensuring that the Londoners will have plenty of vocal support for the FA Cup quarter final replay next Wednesday.
Charlton have arranged free transport for many of their fans with a fleet of buses and a couple of trains. They have also organised a subsidised flight from Gatwick for just £50.
Nuneaton and Coventry also brought fans in numbers for FA Cup replays but both teams returned home disappointed in defeat.
Suppose Boro beat Charlton. Wouldn't it be nice if Boro offered free travel to fans attending the semi-final at Villa Park, particularly those who have travelled 1000's of miles at great expense to follow them around Europe.
