Cattermole Withdraws From U21 Squad

The Boro midfielder sustained an injury during the 1-1 draw against Newcastle United on Sunday forcing him to be substituted 20 minutes from the end of the game at St James Park.

Boro pair David Wheater and Adam Johnson both remain in Stuart Pearce's squad for the European Under-21 Championship qualifier at Southampton's St Mary's Stadium on Tuesday evening.
