Boro youngsters earn England call-up

The England U-19 squad will travel to the North West at the end of March to play in the Elite Round of the U-19 European Championship.

The squad includes Boro's James Morrison, Tony McMahon, Matthew Bates, Andrew Taylor and David Wheater.

England will play three games in five days against Denmark (at Crewe, 26th March), Sweden (at Bury, 28th March) and Moldova (at Blackpool, 30th March).

The winners of the group will qualify for the finals, which will take place in Northern Ireland this summer.
