Boro v Lazio: Team news

With no major injuries to report from the visit to South London the Boro boss could field the same team, in consecutive games, for only the third time this season. However, Ray Parlour is having a late fitness test on a back injury.

Boro are still without Michael Reiziger, Malcolm Christie, Stuart Parnaby, Ugo Ehiogu, Szilard Nemeth and recent casualty Gaizka Mendieta.

Franck Queudre returns to European action after missing the game in Athens, while serving a ban, following his dismissal against Banik Ostrava.
