The highest price that a season ticket holder will pay to watch the Blackburn tie is £22, that's £10 less than the Man. United tie in the previous round.
For season ticket holders the prices range from £15-22 for adults and £8-15 for consessions, however non-season ticket holders will pay more, their prices range from £16.50-£25 for adults and £10-16.50 for consessions.
The match takes place on Saturday 16th February with a 3pm kick-off. Season ticket holders have until close of business on Saturday 9th February to claim their tickets. They go on general sale on Monday 11th February.
Boro spokesman Dave Allan said today "These prices have been set in view of the disappointing attendance for our fourth round win over Manchester United and the feedback we have received from supporters about the price of tickets for that tie."
He added "FA Cup rules state that both clubs must agree on the prices and we have been able to agree with Blackburn what we believe are very attractive prices. This is a great chance to continue our cup run and we are hoping for a big attendance to get behind the team."
Personally I welcome the reduction to the reasonable level that has been chosen, after all it is the FA Cup and reducing them anymore would undermine the traditions of this great competion.
Furthermore season ticket holders are finally seeing some benefit from forking out vast amounts of money to purchase their tickets in the first place.
