Boro Reserves slump

A goal in each half from Gabriel Agbonlahor and Stefan Moore gave Villa victory. But for a number of superb saves by David Knight in the Boro goal the scoreline could have been much greater.

Matthew Bates injured his back during the warm-up and missed the game while Andrew Davies, fresh from his loan spell at QPR, missed the game through illness.
