Boro in white

Thousands of fans took part in a poll to choose Boro's new away kit and 40% picked one of the three white designs in the choice of four, in fact nearly 80% voted for one of the three white designs.

The kit is identical in design to last seasons but with navy blue piping, presumably it will be matched with white shorts and socks.

The winning design has already met with the approval of manager Steve McClaren, who says it was his preferred choice.

The results of the poll were as follows:
Shirt A (white) 10%
Shirt B (white) 29%
Shirt C (white) 40%
Shirt D (blue) 21%
